Membership Terms and Conditions

The Global Association of One Percenters

These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) govern membership in the Global Association of One Percenters, a division of UK corporation Kutte Kulture LTD.  The Global Association of One Percenters (collectively “we,” “us,” “our,” “ours”). Purchase or use of a membership in the American Motorcyclist Association (a “Membership”) at any time subjects the purchaser or user (“you,” “your,” “yours,” “Member”) to the provisions of these Terms, as amended by us from time to time.

BY ACCEPTING YOUR MEMBERSHIP, YOU CERTIFY THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND WILL ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS.

Benefits: As a holder of a Membership, you are entitled to certain benefits. These benefits become active only upon the issuance of your Membership number, and may be changed by us from time to time
Membership Fee. The annual Membership fee is currently £30.00. Membership fees are subject to taxation in accordance with applicable with law in England and Wales. The annual Membership fee of £30.00 does not include applicable taxes. We may change the Membership fee at any time, but changes will apply only to new and renewal annual Memberships, to include those occurring as part of the dues autorenewal program.
Refunds. There will be no Membership fee refunds, except for Members enrolled in our Auto-Renewal program who request a refund within 30 days of their membership renewal or for members who joined as part of a membership promotion that included a money-back guarantee. Members who have been offered a money-back guarantee must request a refund of membership dues by emailing info@gaop.org. A refund form will be mailed and must be completed and returned to the address below. However, you may cancel your Membership at any time, without a refund, by contacting us at:

Risk/Liability: GAOP-sanctioned events, and by accepting the Membership, you assume all risks of injury or damage arising out of participation in all GAOP-sanctioned events. You agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify the GAOP, its district organizations and its employees, directors, officers, agents, contractors, including the organizers of all GAOP-sanctioned events from all liability as a result of my participation in any such events. This means that you agree not to sue the GAOP for any resulting injury to yourself or your property at any GAOP-sanctioned event.

Restrictions on Transfer. Your Membership may not be transferred or used by any party other than yourself.
Your Information. We expect Members to submit and maintain accurate and current user information in connection with their Memberships. Such information includes name (you can use rider names), address, email address, and telephone number. Members can change their account information by (i) updating Member profile data through an authenticated www.gaop.org account, or (ii) contacting us at: membershipservices@gaop.org

We may terminate your Membership, including any associated accounts, without notice, for any reason in our sole discretion, including without limitation our belief that continued use of such Membership would violate any provisions of these Terms, applicable law, or otherwise be harmful to our interests. In the event of any such termination, you will be entitled to a pro rata refund of your Membership fee.

Term and Termination. Membership term is one year from the date of purchase. Renewals or automatic renewals within a current term extend the existing expiration date by one year. When an expired Membership is renewed, the new term begins on the date that membership dues are processed, and expires one year from that date. Your Membership will not automatically renew unless you opt in to our dues autorenewal program.
Automatic Renewal. You may opt into our dues autorenewal program. This program allows us to automatically renew your Membership each year with no action on your part. You understand that by agreeing to the automatic renewal of your Membership, the annual Membership fee (at the then-current rate) will be automatically charged once a year in your Membership anniversary month to the credit card you have registered with us, unless you alter or cancel your Membership as provided below. You understand that we will notify you by email at least 30 days before charging your credit card, and that you reserve the right to alter or cancel your Membership at that time. If you cancel your membership, withdraw from the dues autorenewal program, or fail to keep a valid credit card on file with the GAOP, coverage from any Assistance will cease immediately. If you wish to dispute any charge to your credit card made pursuant to the automatic renewal authorization, you agree to contact us first at the address or telephone number above to resolve the dispute. You also authorize us to charge or credit your credit card as needed to account for any undercharge or overcharge errors, or to resubmit a failed or declined charge if and when your credit card is declined or expires. You will no longer be covered by any assistance. 

Privacy. Please refer to the full Notice of Privacy Policy of The Global Association of One Percenters, available on the GAOP website at www.gaop.org, for information about how we collect and use your Personal Information.

Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability. Your Membership and its associated benefits are for use at your sole risk. Your membership benefits are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that (i) the Membership will meet your requirements, or (ii) the quality of any products, services, or information obtained by you from your use of the Membership will meet your expectations. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profit, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from any matters relating to the Membership program.  Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental, consequential, or other damages. Accordingly, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

Governing Law. These Terms, and the respective rights and obligations of the parties hereunder, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Acknowledgement. These Terms, including all documents referenced herein, represent the entire understanding between Us and any Member with respect to the Membership and supersede any other agreements, statements, or representations. Headings are for reference only and shall not affect the meaning of any part of the terms. All Members, by virtue of their Membership, are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms. We may change these Terms at any time without notice or liability by posting revised Terms on the GAOP website at www.gaop.org. Any change shall take effect immediately, unless otherwise provided. You may view the current version of these Terms at any time online at www.gaop.org.
