FAQs – Global Association of One Percenters (GAOP)
Welcome to the FAQs Page. At the Global Association of One Percenters (GAOP), we believe outlaw motorcycle clubs deserve fair representation, not false labels. For too long, clubs have faced profiling, hostile laws, and media distortion that turn culture into crime and brotherhood into stigma. GAOP was built to change that, to stand as a professional firewall between the club world and the systems that target it. This page answers the most common questions about who we are, what we do, and how we protect, represent, and amplify the voices of the one-percenter community without compromising its independence or integrity.
What is the Global Association of One Percenters (GAOP)?
The Global Association of One Percenters (GAOP) is the advocacy arm of Kutte Kulture LTD, founded in 2025 by Belinda “Wildcard” Sharland.
Our mission is simple: to serve as a professional firewall between outlaw motorcycle clubs (MCs) and the political, legal, and media systems that often misrepresent or target them.
We exist to protect, represent, and amplify the voices of clubs, without forcing them into the spotlight or compromising their independence.
Why Was GAOP Created?
In recent years, clubs and their members have faced growing profiling, RICO-style prosecutions, and unfair treatment due to media sensationalism and hostile laws.
GAOP was built to change that. We stand as a barrier between the club world and the systems that mislabel it, providing professional representation where there was once only silence.
Are You a Club or do You Control Clubs?
No. GAOP is not a club and never will be.
We do not dictate how clubs operate, who they work with, or what they stand for.
We exist purely as an external advocacy and protection body, a firewall that absorbs the heat from the outside world so clubs can focus on what matters.
What Makes GAOP Different From Other Organisations?
We don’t do “bro marketing,” and we don’t speak for clubs; we amplify their voice professionally.
Our Firewall Framework sets us apart. It’s a five-stage system designed to filter threats, manage risk, translate club issues into professional language, advocate legally and politically, and amplify outlaw culture through media and education.
The Five Stages Are:
- Filter – Vetting legal, policy, and media threats.
- Shield – Risk management and reputation protection.
- Translate – Converting club concerns into policy and legal terms outsiders respect.
- Advocate – Lobbying, campaigns, and legal actions.
- Amplify – Promoting culture, education, and representation through projects like Grim Rider Magazine.
Why do Outlaw Clubs Need an Organisation Like GAOP?
Because the system is stacked.
Clubs are increasingly profiled and prosecuted under organised crime laws, often for incidents that have nothing to do with organised criminal activity.
Media bias, public stigma, and political overreach all play a part. GAOP exists to push back, providing early warnings, legal insight, and credible advocacy that keep clubs from being blindsided.
How Does GAOP Protect Club Privacy?
Confidentiality is the cornerstone of everything we do.
From encrypted contact forms to strict NDAs, clubs control how visible they want to be.
We offer three levels of exposure:
- Silent Shield – Full privacy, no public affiliation.
- Advisory Voice – Private influence, limited exposure.
- Public Ally – Full partnership and public advocacy.
No matter the level, the firewall never breaks.
How Does GAOP Handle Media and Public Perception?
Decades of misrepresentation have made “outlaw” a dirty word.
Through Grim Rider Magazine and our Amplify program, GAOP works to retake the narrative, telling the real stories of brotherhood, loyalty, and tradition.
We produce professional statements, curated press releases, and cultural projects that challenge stigma and highlight the humanity of the biker world.
What is Grim Rider Magazine?
Grim Rider is GAOP’s cultural stronghold.
It’s where outlaw motorcycle culture tells its own story through features, history, rights education, and community projects.
We use culture as a line of defence, pushing back against media distortion and reminding the world that outlaw clubs are more than the labels they’ve been given.
Who Leads GAOP?
GAOP was founded and is directed by Belinda Sharland (Wildcard) under Kutte Kulture LTD.
Belinda has long stood for one principle: “Club first, always.”
A volunteer board of six advisors will guide GAOP’s direction, but all decisions will always stay true to our core, loyalty, authenticity, and freedom.
How Can Clubs Join or Work With GAOP?
Clubs can apply for membership through a secure onboarding process.
All communication is encrypted, and exposure levels are chosen by the club.
Membership includes:
- Early legal and policy alerts
- Media and reputation shielding
- Advocacy at political and legal levels
- Optional cultural participation in Grim Rider and outreach events
Membership is about trust, privacy, and strength in unity, not exposure.
What’s GAOP’s Long-Term Vision?
We’re building a future where outlaw clubs are treated as cultural communities, not criminal gangs.
Where wearing colours isn’t cause for harassment, and where clubs have a respected voice in law and policy.
GAOP is here to make that future real, through representation, education, and unity.
Freedom, dignity, and respect for outlaw riders, their families, and their culture, that’s the road ahead.
